On Saturday, February 9, 2008, at 2 PM, the new Democratic Headquarters in Calvert County will be officially opened. A rally for the following Tuesday's Primary Election will be held immediately afterward.

Gender balance requires the Central Committee to elect a female who will be a voting member of the State Democratic Central Committee and a non-voting member of the Calvert County Democratic Central Committee. Application due by August 15, 2007.

The Clavert Democratic Annual Louis L. Goldtein Dinner is moved to Tuesday, March 13. It will still be at the Rod 'n' Reel in Chesapeake Beach, beginning at 6:00 PM with dinner at 7:00 PM.
