Calvert Dem Office is Ready to Help Your Campaign

Posted 15 December 2017

The Democratic Central Committee has dedicated its largest room to getting out the vote in 2018. Thanks to several Committee members’ work and a generous donation of equipment from IBEW International, we’ve modernized our network to handle group phone-banking so you can start reaching out to your voters.

We’ve got five workstations set up, each with its own phone line, headphones, and a VAN connected computer. MDVAN (VoteBuilder) is a browser- and app-based software that allows campaigns and committees from across the state to access information about voters and volunteers, and to easily create walk lists and call lists. VAN allows users to break down a voting district by geography making it easy to create canvassing turfs. It can also organize voter information by voting history, party affiliation, age, and many other criteria.

If you’re a Democrat running for office or know someone who is, schedule a work session today with our office staff. We've got people willing to help make calls and we will make sure that you and your volunteers are set-up and trained to start phone-banking in your district.

The Calvert County Democratic Central Committee is working hard to ensure that we get Democrats elected in 2018. If you have any ideas or would like to help Turn Calvert Blue, we'd love to hear from you. Contact us today
