Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot Visits Calvert County

On Tuesday April 23, Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot paid a visit to the Calvert County Democratic Club meeting at Adam's Ribs in Prince Frederick. He spoke at length about his time serving the state of Maryland in various roles from the Maryland House of Delegates through his current position, including his strong support of union labor and protecting and supporting organized labor not just in Calvert County, but all of Maryland. He also explained a bit about how his office services Marylanders' tax questions and assists in getting our refunds back to us promptly.

He then took questions from those in attendance, and the group had a very informative and interesting discussion over a wide-ranging variety of issues. Calvert County Democrats thank Mr. Franchot for his visit and service to all Marylanders.
